Privacy Policy

Ripplelingo (the "App") respects your privacy. The App has no sign-up and stores no user data on any server. All learning data (progress, chosen color, completed words) is stored only on your device (localStorage) and is never transmitted externally.

1. Information We Collect

The App itself collects no personal information such as name, email, or location. However, we use Google AdMob to serve ads, and AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) for personalized advertising, governed by Google's privacy policy.

2. Advertising

The App displays Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Ad personalization follows your device settings and App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent. If you do not consent, non-personalized ads are shown. Users in the EEA/UK are shown a consent form (Google UMP) as required by GDPR before any personalized advertising.

3. Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. The only third party involved is Google (AdMob), which may receive an advertising identifier for ad delivery when you consent. Google processes it under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

4. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. EEA/UK users may withdraw advertising consent at any time via the consent form. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell your personal information; sharing an advertising identifier for personalized ads may qualify as a "sale/share," and you can opt out by disabling ad tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (or Android Settings > Privacy > Ads).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain no personal data on any server. On-device learning data is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App, at which point it is permanently removed. Advertising identifiers are invalidated as soon as you reset them or deny tracking in your device settings.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

7. International Data Transfer (국외이전)

The App stores no personal data on our servers, so we transfer nothing overseas ourselves. However, when ads are served, your advertising identifier and ad-related device information are transferred to and processed by Google LLC (AdMob), located in the United States (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA; googlemobileads-support@google.com), at the time an ad is requested over the network, for the purpose of ad delivery and measurement, and retained according to Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You may refuse this transfer by denying tracking consent (ATT) or disabling personalized ads in your device settings; non-personalized ads are then shown.

8. Data Processors (처리위탁)

We do not entrust personal data processing to any service provider, because we hold no personal data. Google (AdMob) acts as an independent data processor/controller for advertising as described above, under its own privacy policy.
